Maybe it’s the talk of “back to school” or the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (you have until August 8th people!), or maybe it’s a combination of both, but I already have fall fashion on my mind. I have been on a blazer kick lately, and even though the temperature is still in the 100s that doesn’t stop me from wanting to wear them now! My trick has been to find blazers that are fun and fresh in color and are lightweight materials that can be worn now, but still transition into fall.
My current color crush is blush. It’s become my go-to neutral! It is soft and feminine and goes beautifully with so many different colors. I spotted this blush blazer (on sale) and knew I couldn’t pass it up! I have been scooping up blazers ever since I brought home this floral one from Zara, and while I love the fun print I wanted one that was more classic and timeless. This style is slightly oversized which I prefer because it gives the jacket more of a casual vibe.
The linen material is perfect for the hot summer days. I paired it with my black swing dress and flats for a casual Sunday brunch look. I always need something to wrap up in when the air conditioner is on so draping the blazer over my shoulders was a chic alternative to a sweater.
While I was perusing Ann Taylor’s sale section, I saw this sweet blush bag that compliments the blazer perfectly. I am a sucker for a great bag and this soft rouge is a winner. I always have my eye out for great crossbody and clutch options. This one has a long strap that I tucked in to wear as a clutch.
My sparkle flats are currently on sale and they are my favorite way to add a little glam to my outfit. My sunnies were a recent score from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and are my absolute favorites. I clearly have a love for pink so these were at the top of my list of “must haves.” I love Illesteva sunglasses and couldn’t be happier with this pair. They are currently sold out but there are similar styles available here.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Thank you for stopping by! xo Bryn
