There is a constant struggle in the summer between the hot temperatures outside and the freezing air conditioning. My solution: light layers. No matter where I am going during the day I always have another layer to help with the frigid temps. I’m the girl in the movie theater that pulls a sweater out of my bag.
I came across this beauty of a blazer a couple of weeks ago on the Zara website. How could you not love this amazingĀ print?! The cream background and soft pink hues are so dreamy. It just so happens that it went on sale this weekend so of course I scooped it up immediately. I also bought a black sheath dress that pairs really well with it for a date night.
I rely heavily on blazers in the summer. The blazer can be so much more than just an office staple. They are perfect over my jeansĀ and tank tops for a day of running errands. It is an easy way to add a classic touch to a casual look.
My white jeans are a summer necessity. I don’t always like wearing shorts so white jeans are the perfect alternative. I decided to break in my new J.Crew sparkle flats with this look. They are so much fun! It’s easy to add a little sparkle to a look with jewelry but sometimes I prefer to let my shoes do the talking (my wedding shoe is proof of that) and keep my other accessories minimal.
The blazer is such a great piece to have in your closet. I also love this white one and this blush linen style.
