Girls Trip to Palm Beach

A couple of weeks ago one of my best friends and I hopped on a plane to enjoy the sunshine in Palm Beach for a girls trip. This trip was planned in somewhat short notice after we both felt like we needed a little get-a-way. I suggested Palm Beach after falling in love with the area this time last year. After sharing a few Instagram posts from Palm Beach, my friend was convinced.

When it came to deciding on a place to stay, The Colony was at the top of our list. First off, it’s pink and pretty. We did research some other options, but ultimately decided that The Colony was perfect for us. We had no regrets! If you are visiting Palm Beach for a girls trip, The Colony Hotel is the perfect spot for you. The atmosphere is so relaxing and we loved the location. We were by far the youngest people staying in the hotel, but we loved that. It was very much “our speed.”

Knowing that I typically plan out my trips thoroughly, my friend asked me if I had made an itinerary. My answer was yes… pool! After check-in we quickly changed in the hotel lobby ladies room and headed straight to the pool. This is pretty much where we stayed for the remainder of the trip. Need a poolside drink? We highly recommend the Frosé.

When we weren’t lounging by the pool, we were shopping. Palm Beach has no shortage of amazing shopping options. Our first stop was The Royal Poinciana Way. It’s a fun outdoor shopping center with some unique stores. We discovered Stoney Clover Lane which has the most adorable bags and accessories that can be personalized in-store. A trip to Palm Beach wouldn’t be complete without a stroll down Worth Ave for some fabulous window shopping (in my case at least). The Colony is located just off Worth Ave. so you can’t miss it!

Where To Eat

Coyo Taco – Located at the Royal Poinciana Plaza. Being from Texas, I know good tacos and I am happy to say Coyo Taco lives up to my high standards. It’s a perfect spot for a quick (affordable) lunch.

Sant Ambroeus – Easily our favorite meal of the trip! We had dinner here on our last night. Be sure to make reservations early since it is a very popular spot, but well worth a visit. We also stopped for gelato one afternoon while shopping at the Royal Poinciana Plaza.

Ta-Boo on Worth Ave – I really enjoyed this spot, but my friend didn’t enjoy her meal quite as much. It’s a fun atmosphere and located on Worth Ave around the best shopping. Maybe just skip the crab cake!

The Colony Hotel – We had several meals at the hotel, including tea and coffee each morning from Cafe 155. I highly recommend enjoying the Cobb Salad pool-side!

The Breakers Hotel – On our last morning we had breakfast at The Breakers Hotel in The Circle. Breakfast was very good, but it was made even better by the ambiance. The Breakers is a beautiful hotel with a breathtaking ocean-front view.

Palm Beach is a great escape for a relaxing vacation. The area is beautiful, safe and has so much to offer. One of my favorite things to do is grab a cup of gelato and wander around with my camera. For my fellow flower lovers, Palm Beach is a paradise! Fair warning… it is a very expensive area. But being able to split everything with a girlfriend makes it a little easier! xo Bryn
