Fresh Start for Spring

On Sunday I woke up to what felt like a spring morning. Which was a very welcome change to the previous week of temperatures in the teens. Now that I’ve had a taste of warmer weather I’m craving spring. I haven’t been thinking too much about a spring wardrobe lately but I have to admit this weekend got me in the mood for everything pastel. Brian will be traveling to Florida for work this week and I’m hoping I can join him for a quick get-a-way. A couple of days in the Sunshine State is just what I need after several long weeks of winter.

When Brian and I talked about me joining him in Florida I started thinking about what I would take with me. I actually donated a lot of my spring clothes a few months ago. I wanted to start fresh again in the new spring season, so this trip is the perfect excuse to get a head start. Not to mention this warm weather we’re enjoying at home.

Abercrombie has been a go-to for me, which I’ve mentioned before. When I want cute and trendy pieces that won’t require me to spend a lot of money, I always check Abercrombie. This little sweatshirt dress is so cozy. I immediately fell in love with the blue and white stripe because it felt like spring.

If you read my recent post with FAQs, you’ll know that I love my M.Gemi shoes. This pair of loafers was my first pair I purchased and since then I have added three other pairs. This blush pair are easily my favorite shoes I own. They are incredibly comfortable and the pale blush allows me to wear them with almost anything. They also compliment the blush lining of my tote bag perfectly!

I’ll be sharing some of my favorite spring items that I’ve rounded up on Wednesday. Some of which will make it into my suitcase. That is if they arrive on time… does anyone else do that?! I always order way too close to a trip and I’m left sweating it out hoping they are delivered before I leave for the airport. Anyway, I hope you have a great Monday! xo Bryn

Bryn! I love this outfit so much! Also, you are not alone, my friend… I order things the week before and expect them to arrive in time. 99.9% of the time they don’t!
