Das Peach Haus

Hi Everyone!

I’m wrapping up my posts on my recent weekend trip to Fredericksburg, TX visiting the beautiful Hill Country wineries with this adorable stop: Das Peach Haus.

This was by far my favorite place in Fredericksburg. Das Peach Haus is located just a little off of Main Street but once you are on the property you feel worlds away. The store and wine tasting rooms are lined with shelves filled to the ceiling with any peach flavored condiments you could ever dream of! They are the proud creators of The Original Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce® which I wasn’t brave enough to sample… I’m such a wimp when it comes to anything spicy! But I did leave with a shopping bag full of peach wine and peach cider (seriously, the best stuff ever!)

The peach orchard is on site, along with the most beautiful pond underneath the Texas pine trees. Hubby and I enjoyed our glass of wine, relaxing under the trees taking in the view. This was probably my favorite part of the trip! A weekend getaway is perfect for re-charging and gaining a fresh perspective.

That’s really what I love about traveling. I love my Dallas-suburb life but there is something so peaceful about the country. Traveling gives you an opportunity to live a different lifestyle for a short time period. It makes you appreciate different ways of life, which is so important!

We visited Das Peach Haus right after our stop at Becker Vinyards (seen here) so I am still wearing this adorable off the shoulder dress from the Who What Wear + Target collection. The off the shoulder trend is strong right now and I am all about it. My dress is sold out online but I found a similar style here for a steal! I also love this gingham style – another trend I’m obsessed with right now, seen here and here.

After we finished our peach wine, we popped over to Main St. for an early dinner at Vaudeville. If you ever get a chance to visit Fredericksburg put this place on your list! It is a beautiful store, art gallery, event venue, wine cellar and gourmet eatery all in one stop. I spent a long time wandering through their shop admiring their beautiful pieces before heading downstairs to the wine cellar and bistro. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was top notch! By far my favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg.

It’s funny how traveling just a few hours drive away from home can feel like a completely different world! That’s what I loved so much about Fredericksburg. The charm was undeniable and the scenery was just beautiful. Fredericksburg is proud to say it is the second most visited wine country in the states, behind Napa. With no shortage of wineries, peach orchards, and fields filled with wildflowers, it is definitely worth a visit.

Thank you for stopping by! xo Bryn

I’ve never considered a trip to Fredericksburg but your beautiful visual commentary has made me add it to my list of places close-by to visit. Oh! and peaches in Texas, who knew? Was there cobbler on any dessert menu?

So true what you said about short road trips feeling like completely other places. We love exploring local cities. There’s a cute city about an hour away from us that we love to retreat to. When people ask us where we’re from, they tell us we’re not tourists, we’re practically locals lol.
