I had my first sips of a pumpkin spice latte this week… too early? Maybe. But I’ve embraced that fall is here. I have been trying not to get ahead of myself with shopping for fall. It’s still so early and not all of the fall collections have arrived. Instead I have been going back to my favorite classic pieces. I’ve said on the blog many times that my style is very classic. I love pieces that are timeless and work well beyond one season. My navy blazer is one of those fall’s must haves.
I bought this navy blazer at the beginning of fall last year and have worn it so many times (last seen here). I actually prefer a navy blazer to a black one. It provides more richness and you can still see the details of the blazer. With black you tend to lose the contrast. It’s also easier to dress it down since it pairs so well with denim.
Speaking of denim, I have been living in these Levi’s. The high-waist, cropped style is my go-to denim style right now and I had been looking for the perfect light wash pair. I have found the Levi’s run small so I suggest going one size up when ordering. There is nothing more “classic American style” than Levi’s and a pair of Converse.
I have been all over the sneaker trend lately. I paired my navy pair with my navy dress and cardi last week. This week I pulled out my Converse with the navy blazer. I also recently picked up this leather pair that will be coming with me next week on our trip to Europe.
A navy blazer is great way to add instant sophistication to an outfit. I have also styled this blazer with white pants, white tee and a nude pump. It’s a versatile piece that will round out your fall wardrobe. Since mine is old I have linked several similar styles that are available now. Thanks as always for stopping by! I hope you have a great week! xo Bryn
