L’Occitane Summer Treasures Set

As I mentioned in my Summer Adventures post, I truly treasure my sense of adventure. I believe that travel and experience are the best ways to grow and to fully understand the world. You don’t have to travel to the other side of the world, you just have to change your perspective. Brian and I, along with my parents, visited my aunt and uncle at the beach last week. There’s nothing better than a relaxing week at the beach with the family.

Unless I am traveling to Europe for several weeks, I typically only travel with my carry-on suitcase and a personal item. I try to avoid checking my bags as often as possible because I have arrived at my destination with only the clothes on my back too many times. Since I travel with a carry-on I have to make a few sacrifices when it comes to my beauty products. Not all of my products are “TSA approved” so I usually just make do with what is at the hotel. I honestly hate doing that because I can always tell a difference in my skin and hair when I travel.

Fortunately one of my favorite brands, L’Occitane, recently released their Summer Treasures Set. They were kind enough to send me the set just in time for my trip! The set has 13 travel sized beauty essentials and I took all of them! The set arrived a couple of weeks ago and I was so excited that I started using some of the products that night! I’m not very good at waiting when it comes to new beauty products.

I have always loved their hand creams and this set includes both Almond Delicious and Cherry Blossom scents. I’ve been keeping the Almond Delicious in my purse during the day and the Cherry Blossom on my night stand. The Peony Perfecting Face Creme became an instant favorite. I love the light scent but more importantly the texture of the face creme. It’s not a heavy cream and doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy. I wake up the next morning with a soft glow.

The Divine Youth Oil is something I will be ordering in a non-travel size. I love using oils. I use oil on my hair, body and face. My T-zone is naturally oily which made me scared of using oil on my face. Now, I’ve been using oil for at least a year and it actually helps my skin to regulate the amount of oil it’s producing. If I use a face oil, I notice much more balance in my skin and oil levels. This one smells amazing (I can be very picky about my oil scents) and gives my skin a natural luminance.

Another product I want to mention is the Immortelle Essential Water toner. I have been using a rose toner lately and I have enjoyed the soothing qualities but I can tell such a difference after switching to the Immortelle Essential Water. My face feels cleaner and much more firm. Highly recommend trying this one!

Whether you are traveling this summer or just wanting to try a new skincare regime the L’Occitane Summer Treasures Set is a great option. It even includes travel sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I love L’Occitane for their dedication to quality products. This set is a great opportunity to test out this brand if it’s new to you! xo Bryn

Thank you to L’Occitane for your partnership on this post!

One of my girlfriends was JUST talking about a rose toner that she uses the other day. I’ve been on the hunt for a good one since then – I’ll have to check out the L’Occitane version!
