The Monday Blues

Ah, the Monday blues… but in the best way possible!

This weekend I was invited to attend an event at The W with chloédigital. Chloédigital is a lifesaver for bloggers (myself included). They are my “behind the blog” making sure everything runs smoothly. The event was for a handful of bloggers in the area and it was so amazing to finally get to meet so many people I love following.

Blogging can feel very isolating. It is kind of a strange concept when I think about it. Every week I write my thoughts and experiences and you stop by to read (which is always appreciated) but I don’t see you, just the page views. That’s one reason I love the comments and DMs from you! It helps me connect to you, too!

Being in a room with so many inspiring people is incredible motivation! Whether it’s a fun event, a room full of your peers or brunch with friends, it’s so important to spend time with the people who inspire you. When you live life inspired to take on the day, Monday doesn’t look so bad.

This week my “Monday blues” were only in my outfit. After such an amazing weekend I felt ready to take on the week. Blue has been my color crush all spring, so it’s only fitting that I added this skirt to my collection. I have this similar navy version but there was something about this light blue that I just couldn’t resist.

This was my look for the event and I loved how comfortable I was while still feeling perfectly styled. I always tend to be a little more on the dressy side for events. I would rather be slightly overdressed than too casual. This skirt was the perfect match.

I hope that your Monday is off to a wonderful start! Don’t let those Monday blues get you down. It’s a fresh start on a new week, just waiting for you to make it a great one! Thanks so much for stopping by! xo Bryn
