I am no stranger to gingham. Especially blue and white gingham. Last week I shared one of my favorite dresses from Christy Dawn with you! Gingham is such a fun print and always has me dreaming of warm summer days out at the park. Gingham is the print of choice for spring and summer. With embroidery being such a huge trend this season, it was only natural that the two would collide.
I first spotted this top at Zara, which is actually where I purchased it from. But luckily for you I found the exact same top for half the price here. The embroidery detail looked a little more yellow online but it definitely is a lime green. The piece in the front can be worn open or tied in a knot like I’m showing. I prefer the knot just because it gives the top a little more shape and defines my waist.
My white cropped jeans have been on heavy rotation all spring. They just brighten up every look, especially something this blue. It wouldn’t look as crisp paired with denim. My blue bag is another piece that I have been using a lot lately. I talked about it more in this post. The hobo style is one of my favorites – not to mention the perfect shade of blue!
I have been crushing on so many embroidered pieces lately. It’s such a fun trend. But that’s just the thing, it is a trend and I don’t want to go too crazy with buying a lot of pieces that I won’t be able to wear next season. That’s why I was so happy to find that this top is even less than I paid here. It’s an easy seasonal purchase for under $25!
What are some of your favorite trends right now? Are you all about embroidery? I hope you are having a great week! Thank you so much for stopping by! xo Bryn
