The Wrap Skirt

I’m not an impulse buyer. I have shopping carts saved all over the internet filled with pieces that I add or remove depending on my interest. There are times that I talk myself out of pieces because of practicality or maybe price point. When I do finally purchase something I have probably been looking at it for a long time. All of that went out of the window when I saw this wrap skirt. I added it to my cart and checked out immediately.

I have a small collection of skirts but no wrap skirt. The wrap skirt style has always been a favorite of mine since it is so flattering on everyone. It defines your waist and feels super feminine. This one is even more fun because of the pretty ruffle edge and bow at the waist. It also happens to be on sale!

The wrap skirt style has been popping up all over the place in so many different colors. I love this pretty pink one that Jenn wore. This seersucker stripe has also been sitting in one of those shopping carts I was talking about for a couple of weeks. I am also crushing on this yellow midi. You know I am all about yellow right now.

Wrap skirts just feel sassy. Whenever I wear this skirt I feel like I’m ready to dance the night away. Maybe it’s the ruffle hem or the flashbacks from my little wrap chiffon skirts from my ballerina days (I was very little and that didn’t last long). Either way I call it an instant mood booster!

You know a piece speaks to me when I throw my shopping logic out of the window. It doesn’t happen often but it’s always worth it when it does. I paired the wrap skirt with a flutter sleeve top and neutral accessories. My Cult Gaia bag is my most over used bag. I have found a few other straw options this spring like this tote, but I always seem to come back to it.
