With most of the country knee-deep in snow this week, it’s hard to think about spring. But over the weekend we had perfect spring-like weather and I had the opportunity to wear one of my latest finds. Each season one staple I am always happy to see return is the chambray dress. Over the years I have collected many different styles from off the shoulder to a shirt dress with a cinched waist. This year I think I have found my favorite style to date.
The Target Who What Wear collection never disappoints, and this spring collection is one of the best I have seen. I have always loved the Target capsule collections. Actually, if I’m being honest, I just love anything from Target. I am always amazed at how easily I can spend $100. Anyone else have this problem?
Chambray is a spring wardrobe staple. It’s lightweight and breathes easier than denim. It’s right up there with linen for my top spring fabrics. A chambray dress and shirt are classics, but there are some other great ways to add chambray to your spring wardrobe. This chambray midi wrap-skirt is amazing and will be perfect transitioning back into fall with boots.
I also love the idea of adding the denim look in your accessories. These mules are on my wishlist and will be great paired with shorts or dresses. A chambray espadrille is another great spring shoe. Soludos has the best selection of fun chambray smoking slippers. They’re always Instagram ready!
Since this dress is currently sold out I have linked a few similar options below. This style with a tiered skirt and pockets is another great option. And you can’t go wrong with a chambray jumpsuit.
I kept my accessories neutral but added a silk scarf to my bag for a pop of color. I also love a neck scarf with chambray. It is a great way to bring in a pattern. These lace up heels are also from Target and are extremely comfortable. I have been looking at this style of shoe for a while but wasn’t willing to spend too much. These are the perfect option for style and comfort, not to mention under $30!
