It was a beautiful Spring weekend in Dallas! Brian is home so we took advantage of our time together and spent the weekend out enjoying the beautiful weather. My time with Brian is always so precious since we spend so much of it away from each other. So when spring starts to roll in and the weather calls us outside, I cherish every moment.
I have talked over the past few posts about transitioning into my spring wardrobe. I love early spring when you can finally shed the coats and break out the vibrant colors. As nature comes alive again, I am inspired to incorporate more natural elements into my wardrobe. I pull so much inspiration from nature. You can see from my Instagram that flowers are a constant source of inspiration. It amazes me how each season has its own beauty but spring is by far my favorite.
JORD wood watches are beautifully inspired by our natural surroundings, which is why I love them. This wood watch has been such a perfect addition to my spring wardrobe. I like to keep my accessories very minimal and neutral since I feel like spring is all about natural beauty. I don’t like to feel overdone. My Frankie style women’s watch in the zebra wood and Champagne face is a perfect complement my spring color palette.
I was completely inspired by the beauty of the wood watch for this look. The natural golden hue is mirrored in my woven mules and bamboo bag. All of the textures combined with the vibrant yellow creates such a cheerful look that has me longing for more sunny days spent outside.
Texture is such a big portion of spring dressing. You can see it in all of our warm weather accessories from straw hats to woven espadrilles. I prefer the wood watch to a metal in Spring because it compliments all of my other spring accessories so much more. Not to mention they are so unique that it’s bound to start a conversation.
