The weather was cool and rainy this weekend in Dallas. I loved it because I love cuddling up on the couch with my blanket and a cup of tea and just enjoying some much needed relaxation. The brisk weather inspired me to pull out all of my Harvest decorations now that the Halloween has been put away. I love home decor. I get very excited about decorating during the holidays and this weekend was the perfect time.
Since it was a relaxing, but still productive weekend, my weekend uniform was on full rotation. If you run into me at Target (because lets face it, you will run into me at Target) it’s safe to assume that I will be in some version of sweater, jeans and a bootie. This is my favorite everyday attire. Very rarely will you see me running around in my yoga pants. I genuinely like to get dressed everyday, even if my hair is in a bun and no makeup, I still make the effort to get dressed.
Now, just because I like to get dressed up that does not mean that I want a lot of fuss. The best pieces in my closet are things that I don’t have to think about. I can throw it on without worrying about what under layer I might need, or if I’ll be comfortable. That’s why when I saw this sweater at Loft, I knew it would be coming home with me.
We know that fall is all about flannel, plaid and cozy sweaters. This sweater makes it too easy to be on trend with the plaid layer sewn in. Like I said, I love pieces that you can just throw on and go. I’m a punctual person but I don’t always schedule myself enough time to get dressed so I end up grabbing something and running out of the door.
The sweater online doesn’t look as thick as it is, but it was so perfect for the chilly, wet weather we have been having. I think Fall is finally here to stay! Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a great Monday, see you back here on Wednesday! xo Bryn

Jeans, a sweater and booties is the BEST fall uniform. I really have to invest in a few more sweaters. You would think that because I live where it’s winter 7 months of the year that I would but stocked up! Target is one of my favourite places; I was devastated when they backed out of Canada!
