Black and white is the most classic combination. It will always be in style and will always be my go-to. If it was good enough for Coco Chanel, then it’s good enough for me! I’ve also never met a stripe I didn’t like. This stripe peplum shirt is just too cute! It’s oversized which makes it perfect paired with skinny jeans or leggings.
I have always had a thing for stripes. No matter what season, I always buy some version of a stripe tee. When you layer a stripe in any outfit there is instantly more definition and interest. Since stripes can be tricky and make us look wider than we are I keep the rest of my look streamlined. Adding volume to a look can be fun as long as there is balance.
This look can easily be dressed down with a pair of flats, like my favorite M.Gemi, moccasins, but I love it with a heel for more of a sassy look. I think anything with peplum requires a little sass, don’t you!?
My favorite part of this look is definitely my pink earrings. Since my look was black and white, I wanted to add a fun pop of color but stay with the sassy, girly vibe. These J.Crew statement earrings are the perfect touch. I love the blush tones mixed with the more neon.
While I usually stay with my pearl earrings, I have been branching out more lately with statement earrings. It’s an easy way to top off an outfit and take it to the next level. I also love these for fall. The tortoise shell will go beautifully with all of our camel pieces.

I agree, stripes are the perfect pattern for every season! I am also really loving the earrings. I have trouble straying from my go-to pearl earrings, but lately jewelry has been taking a huge chunk of my wardrobe budget. You could say I’ve become slightly obsessed!
