As someone who has always enjoyed fashion and styling, shopping is obviously something I love. I get so inspired by seeing the new collections and the emerging colors and styles. As I have gotten older (and busier) I have noticed a shift in the way that I shop. I used to go with my friends to the mall and try things on only to be persuaded by my friends opinions or sales people’s suggestions and I would often come home with things that I didn’t really want. Now that I am more confident in my own style and what fits my body best, I do the majority of my shopping online, in the comfort of my home.
I love fashion forward sites that offer a wide range of options and pieces that are unique. Of course, I still frequent my favorite stores for last-minute purchases but when I know I have a special occasion approaching or I am looking for something particular I go online to stores like VIPme.com to find that special something. I can spend hours looking through their website. The price points are amazing and the selection is truly unending!
When I saw this gorgeous poppy print dress I knew I had to have it. The print is striking and so happy! I was even happier with my selection when I pulled it out of the box and felt the fabric. The silky fabric makes the dress so comfortable and weightless, which is perfect for these unbelievably hot summer days we are having here in Texas. I also love it in the black version for a wedding guest option.
It’s no secret that I love a good dress… in fact I don’t think a girl can ever have enough pretty dresses. I love throwing on a beautiful dress and slipping into a pair of heels, I consider it my “power outfit!” I don’t really need a special occasion to get dolled up, it’s something I have always loved to do. I love this sweet pink number with flats for a day of running around town. I am also eyeing this jacquard mini dress for fall; it would look amazing with over the knee boots.

OMG I hate being persuaded that I look good in something when I just know that its not right for me. That is the nice thing about online shopping – you don’t have to worry about being hassled by store clerks trying so hard to make money off of you that they won’t leave you alone and ruin your shopping experience.
