Off the Shoulder

Summer is right around the corner and I can feel it in the air! With every degree that the temperature rises my mind wanders to far off beaches and lush, tropical landscapes. I have a few beach vacations coming up this summer so I am always looking for pieces that will be great for the Texas summer but will also be perfect on sandy shores.

This top from Banana Republic fits that perfectly. Have you heard about this off-the-shoulder trend? I think it’s here to stay. (Just kidding, obviously its everywhere and everyone is obsessed – including me!) I love a trendy piece as long as I feel like I can get a lot of wear out of it. This top is is versatile and I can see pairing it with skirts and shorts for the beach days, but love it with my wide leg jeans for a more casual, weekend vibe.
