Spring Flats

Hi Everyone!

As I start to get more into my blogging routine I want to start adding mini posts during the week with things that are currently inspiring me or items I have my eye on.

This spring I have added so many beautiful flats to my shoe collection. Now don’t get me wrong… I love heels but I’m a practical girl and flats are just better for everyday. There is something so casual and effortless about spring dressing. It’s the first time in months that we are able to leave the house without bundling up. We can quickly throw on a pair of jeans, a crisp button up shirt and slide into a flat and we’re out the door!

I love the idea of wearing a great pair of flats with a day dress. It changes the look entirely. Heels will always be my go-to for any special occasion, but pairing a dress with flats suddenly makes running errands look super chic!

These Tabitha Simmons flats that Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam wore are amazing and were my inspiration for this post!

If $795 is a little steep for you (like it is for me) I also found these adorable Topshop flats.Topshop

This pair from Aldo brings the floral touch in in a more subtle way.

These L.K.Bennett kitten heels are an honorable mention and a good mid-range splurge.

Another trend I am loving this spring is the lace up flat. Aquazzura has always done this style right. I love the added detail of the gold heel.

One of my favorite brands M.GEMI (I talked more about them here) sells a similar style but sizes are limited. I am obsessed with the Latte color. I think a nude or blush color flat is the perfect way to elongate your legs, especially without the help of a heel.

This pair from ALDO is a cute twist on this style and comes in fun spring colors.
